Showing inclusiveness, respect & helping others feel a sense of belonging might feel like a grey area however… Fear not!

Do-able inspo incoming:
〰️ Listen actively to diverse perspectives without judgment. There are some real 🤯 moments for us all through this process!

〰️ Use inclusive language.

〰️ Challenge discrimination. We are living in an age where discrimination is not ok.

〰️ Create welcoming spaces by considering: Age, ability (physical & cognitive), gender, cultural, spiritual & socio economic backgrounds. Ask people what would suit them best because feeling consulted is an excellent start ✨

〰️Educate yourself about different cultures. It’s not the responsibility of others to teach this.

〰️ Communication is a package: 55% nonverbal, 38% vocal, and 7% words only. Body language matters!

〰️ Learn from people you know. Reach out to people you know who may have experienced exclusion. If you feel comfortable, show curiosity about their experiences… What do they wish was different about what happened? How can you use their response to broaden your awareness of inclusion. Empathy & connection can grow from here.

〰️Apply emotional intelligence (EI) for cultural diversity. Embrace these opportunities with confidence & curiosity⚡️

〰️ If your (EI) radar senses someone feeling uneasy in a room, meeting or situation then create a bridge by finding common ground around experiences, goals, aspirations or even fave food with them. Building rapport immediately lifts the sense of belonging for someone.
