Framework

Looking fantastic and feeling healthy is excellent, but how’s your head going?
Life isn’t all unicorns & puppies for any of us so how can we navigate through that...

Our minds are wired with a rainbow of thoughts, feelings, memories, and emotions but accepting the pain that inevitably goes with that is hard… But very natural. We all have anxiety in different ways and overall, were never designed to be happy all the time!

Values can be woven throughout the way you live generally. What really matters to you at your core? What kind of person do you want to be?

Underpinned by the Acceptance and Commitment Therapy method (ACT) Inspired Spark products are designed to remind you on the daily of values and goals that you want to live by.

ACT is a form of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) widely used by practitioners in the mental health industry. CBT focuses on patterns of thinking and helps to retrain the brain to think differently. In neuroscience, this retraining is known as neuroplasticity.

Happiness is such a personal thing. Sustaining focus on helpful thoughts are what’s most important… Workability baby!

Unhelpful thoughts are part of our human wiring but shouldn’t define us... We do.
Try thinking more flexibly and see? Your mental wellness will thank you for it!

You can't build a great building on a weak foundation.

FAQ

  • Feeling happy + fulfilled overall in life may not come with a manual but having a compass can help... Values can be that compass.
  • Values help ground our decision making which leads to less decision making fatigue (yep that's totally a thing.)
  • Avoiding selfishness. Rooting our actions in a purpose greater than ourselves is good for everyone.
  • Values are intimately linked to our sense of self and are essential for our mental health.
  • Your values will influence decisions related to your relationships, career, and other activities you engage in. Yet despite this importance, few people choose their values. Often, we let the way we are raised or the opinions of those around us choose our values for us.

Some questions you could consider are:

  • What are your heart’s deepest desires for how you want to behave?
  • What qualities would you like to be remembered for the most?
  • How do you want to treat anyone or anything you interact with (including yourself)?

It’s quite common for people to do work around values and identifying what’s important to them with a therapist, psychologist, counsellor or life coach. Lots of people will pay lots of money and spend lots of time discussing the topic only to walk out of the session and either:

  • Forget what was discussed (often it can be overwhleming information to absorb!)
  • Fall back into old routines because afterall you've been living a certain way your whole life right?
  • Start off vigilant then gradually lose sight of the benefits to changing.

All of the above scenarios are super common.

  • How can we sustain focus each day on values that are important to us and help those we adore to do the same?
  • How can we weave this into our everyday lives?

One way is... Reminders!!

We use them for all sorts of small things in our lives so why not use them for bigger things like: Reminding ourselves about how we want to want to live in order to be our best selves, aligned with who we want to be.

THAT is how Inspired Spark products are designed to help you (and those you love) at home or work.

The values framework used by Inspired Spark products is underpinned by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT.) A well established form of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.
