Put simply, values are desired qualities of behaviour: How you want to behave right now, and on an ongoing basis.

To start identifying our values, we begin by considering the major areas of our lives.

Primary categories may be:
Work/Education
Relationships
Play/Leisure
Health

Keeping the above areas of your life in mind, here are 3 questions that can help you land on YOUR top 10 values:
  1. What are your heart’s deepest desires for how you want to behave?
  2. What qualities would you like to be remembered for the most?
  3. How do you want to treat anyone or anything you interact with (including yourself)?
There is loads of psychological evidence to show that living aligned with values you choose will help you be happier in life overall.
